Google fusion table to shapefile using OGR2OGR

A pretty simple procedure for migrating a fusion table to a shapefile (or any OGR format for that matter) using ogr2ogr.

A publicly available fusion table:

The fusion table id comes from the fusion table url:

Im using a custom projection, the proj4 text is:
+proj=aea +lat_1=41 +lat_2=47 +lat_0=44 +lon_0=-120 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +ellps=GRS80 +datum=NAD83 +units=m +no_defs

Then using the GFT driver with ogr2ogr:

ogr2ogr -f "ESRI Shapefile" theshape.shp
"GFT:tables=1qChZCIREgL6qzm-hENkd2GV3h3gwhvNMvLVVMeY"
-t_srs
"+proj=aea +lat_1=41 +lat_2=47 +lat_0=44 +lon_0=-120 +x_0=0 +y_0=0 +ellps=GRS80 +datum=NAD83 +units=m +no_defs"
